Tortuga Wins in American Web Design Awards

The team of Tortuga is proud to share with you some exciting news. We recently won in the GDUSA 2018 American Web Design Awards. From more than 1,500 entries nationwide, only a handful of online design projects – including our website redesign for Barefoot Athleisure (Spring Lake, NJ) – were selected as winners. We are honored to be recognized by Graphic Design USA (GDUSA), the magazine for graphic design professionals.

Moreover, we are in great company. Other winners whose creative agencies or inhouse teams were recognized for online design projects include Altria Group, American Public Television, Auburn University, Bank of America, Blimpie Sandwiches, City of Boston, Cisco Systems, Dell, Denver Market Street Station, Dollywood, Fenty by Rihanna, GEICO, Girls Scouts of America, Hallmark Channel, Harvard University, Hilton Hotels, Holland & Hart, Indian Motorcycle, Johns Hopkins University, Kroger, LA County Department of Public Health, Marc Jacobs Beauty, Medtronic, National Basketball Association (NBA), National Football League (NFL), Nielson Holdings, Northwell Health, Paper Mill Playhouse, PennDOT, PepsiCo, Penske Automotive Group, Pinkberry, Polaroid, Progressive Insurance, Quicken Loans, Rich Foods, Stanley Black & Decker, State of Nebraska, Trinity Church Wall Street, United States Olympic Committee (USOC), United Technologies, Whisky Live USA, XOJET, Zipcar and more.

By way of background, this is the 55th year that Graphic Design USA, the magazine for graphic design professionals, has organized competitions for the creative community. The American Web Design Awards celebrate the power of online design to attract audiences, generate engagement and response, and advance organizations, brands and causes.

Notable awards we have also received this year include the 2018 Indigo Design Award.
